Prisoners Given Dogs as Cell Mates | Winslow Animal Hospital Dog & Cat

There is a program called Canine CellMates at Fulson County Jail in Atlanta, GA for inmates to be paired with dogs in need of adoption. The inmates are taught how to train the dogs and do so over the next two months, spending night and day with them. Dogs that are well-trained have a much better chance of adoption. The relationships between inmates and dogs gives both hope, purpose, and love at a time when they need it.. See the CNN video below to hear those in the program describe it in their own words.
