Since Candace could speak, she never wanted to do anything other than to make a career in animal healthcare. Her career in the veterinary field started in August 2008 when she was hired as a client service coordinator at another animal hospital. She was determined to do more. Candace was given the opportunity to be trained to assist the technicians and eventually transitioned to a full time veterinary technician within a few short years. By 2012, she began focusing her career in the surgery department, anesthesia, and post-operative care. Candace became a part of the Winslow Animal Hospital surgery team in August 2017.
Candace recently graduated from Penn Foster College with a degree in Animal Science. She enjoys many outdoor activities, including paddle boarding, kayaking, camping, and hiking. She also loves practicing yoga and working out. Candace has four dogs: a Husky, a Pit mix, and 2 Maltese, as well as one cat.
