Pledge a Paw
Camden County Animal Shelter just held its 3rd annual Pledge a Paw dog walk on October 15th. Winslow Animal Hospital was proud to be a sponsor for the event to help improve the lives of dogs and cats (and their people!) in the Camden County area. The event was held at Camden County College, Blackwood Campus from 11:00am-3:00pm. We enjoyed gorgeous weather!

There was face painting & coloring, building projects courtesy of Home Depot, kitty & doggie toy making projects and little pumpkin painting for the kids. There were raffle baskets and a Wine & Beer Garden sponsored by Visit South Jersey for the grownups! And of course the pooches need their snacks, too! Camden County Animal shelter stocked a “Doggie Snack Bar” and held Pet Microchipping as well. Several food vendors were there to do their part to raise money for the shelter as well. We were happy to converse with community members and educate them about pet health and the services we offer (and hand out donut holes and other giveaways along the way!)
During the event, 523 donors helped 224 fundraisers to raise $15,343.00 for Camden County Animal Shelter!
