Martin Luther King: Day of Service for Dogs and Cats | Winslow Animal Hospital

Help Us Help Dogs and Cats

“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” Martin Luther King

The communities nearby Winslow Animal Hospital are invited to “help us, help our furry-friends” by donating items to support our local animal shelters. These items will be collected until January 31 and distributed to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, Camden County Animal Shelter and the Gloucester County Animal Hospital.

  1. To be honest I had absolutely no idea that Dr. King cared so much about animals. I mean, I have no reason to think that he wouldn’t have, but when you think of this man you think the work he did for African Americans, rather than animals. That being said, it is great that you guys continue following his motto about caring for animals and their well-being. Keep up the good work.
