Dr. Jennifer Chachkes completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior. After graduation she worked in the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, then completed a one-year internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, where she completed rotations in emergency medicine, cardiology, general practice, internal medicine, surgery and critical care.
Dr. Chachkes’ professional interests are in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Chachkes resides in Philadelphia, PA with her husband Todd and their young daughter. She has two cats, “Burberry” and “Gustav”, and two dogs, “Sky”, Siberian Husky, whom they adopted from a rescue in Ohio, and “Fiona”, a Pitbull mix, adopted as a stray. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, jogging, trying new restaurants in Philadelphia, and spending time with her family.
