February’s patient of the month is ‘Baby’ Wright. He is an almost 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier. We are quite fond of this little guy and enjoy when he is here for visits. He first came to us a year ago with a few health issues. We were able to diagnose his issues with the help of blood work and ultrasound. On ultrasound Dr. Dhillon was able to assess his organs and see that he polyps in his bladder. With blood work we were able to see he has Cushing’s disease and mild Kidney insufficiency. Although he has multiple health issues he is happy, energetic and looks like a puppy. We have been managing his health through frequent visits, medications and a specialized diet. At home he is an only child and enjoys a lavish lifestyle provided by his loving parents David and Lucy.
