July’s Patient of the Month is a very cute 3 year old Terrier mix named Maya, she was brought in recently as she was vomiting and lethargic. A blood work panel revealed that her liver enzymes were elevated, she was admitted to hospital on IV fluids and supportive care. She was later discharged and went home on liver supplements, Maya’s follow up blood work showed that her liver enzymes were back in the normal range and she is doing great!
