Boarding your Pet

At this time, we only offer boarding to hospitalized and surgical patients, on a case by case basis.

If you are in need of boarding arrangements, we suggest contacting Cloud Nine Pet Resort  located in Wylie. We strongly suggest you make your reservations as early as possible (especially around busy holidays) and arrange a tour before you drop off to ensure the facility meets you expectations as well as your pet’s needs.

Wherever you decide to board you pet, please recognize that they will require your pet to be current on vaccines and some may require a monthly flea and tick control. For dogs, the boarding facility will ask for proof of Rabies, Canine Distemper (DHPP) and Bordetella. Some facilities require Bordetella every 6 months. For cats, they need proof of Rabies and Feline Distempter (FVRCP).  Check with your facility to see what their specific requirements are.

If your pet needs vaccine boosters, it is best practice to give them at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of your pet’s boarding reservation. This allows enough time for an immune response to occur.  The due dates for your pet’s vaccines are immediately available through the Pet Portal here on our website. Request an appointment for vaccine boosters here. We also carry topical and oral flea and tick control.
