As we move into September next week, we are happy to share some news with you! As mentioned previously, we have welcomed new team members Nicole and Jen to our reception team. We are happy to announce that we will be opening a few evenings each week for pet appointments as we transition our receptionists into split shifts. We hope to expand the availability of evenings as we move further into the fall.
Two new veterinary technicians have also joined us, and we welcome Erica and Alison. As was noted in early August, Dr. Carnegy has moved on to full retirement from veterinary medicine. Although we miss him, as do many of our clients, we are happy that he now has time for personal enjoyment. Dr. Carnegy first arrived in Halifax directly after graduation in 1977 from the University of Guelph and pretty much was available 24/7 throughout his career.
Our clinic has four veterinarians on staff to meet your needs. Our breeder community should be assured that our reproduction services continue as usual.
Much like yourselves, we are unsure of how the ongoing pandemic will evolve over the coming months. In the interest of prevention and safety for you and your staff, we will continue with curbside pickup for prescriptions and retail with pre-ordering required. Our veterinarians are now meeting some clients and pets in the clinic on a case to case basis, with protocols in place. We will keep you updated of changes.
Enjoy the anticipated beautiful days of a Nova Scotia fall, stay safe!
