NEW PUPPY OWNERS FRUSTRATED DOG OWNER? UNHAPPY DOG? LOTS OF QUESTIONS? WANT SOME TIME TO TALK?
Wendy Corkum has worked with Dr. Carnegy and Carnegy Animal Hospital for over 25 years as a veterinary assistant. Every day she gets to work with dogs, many wonderful pets, others with a variety of issues that make both the dog and the people who love them unhappy or frustrated. In addition, she has trained her own dogs and taught classes for a number of years focusing on puppy socialization and basic obedience. Wendy attends workshops and lectures whenever the opportunity arises and as she loves to read, books on behavior and training are tops on her list!
As Wendy says: “I believe all dogs want to be good loving companions but don’t always know what is expected of them. My methods are positive and fair. They are based on mutual respect and understanding. My goal is to give you the knowledge and the tools so that you and your dog can have that special bond for life. I can answer your questions and concerns about ensuring your new puppy becomes a happy healthy member of the family and community.”
In addition, Wendy has a strong interest in cold laser therapy, and in addition to training, continues to research and stay up to date in this exciting treatment alternative. We are happy to take the opportunity to expand our therapy laser services by dedicating additional time to our schedule.
WENDY IS AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT MORNINGS OR EVENINGS, your first visit is complimentary! Please email or call to schedule.
