Dr. Chelsea Marko, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Marko is a lifelong Connecticut resident, graduating from Quinnipiac University for her undergraduate degree before moving to Ames, Iowa to attend veterinary school. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and exotic companion animals.
Prior to joining the team at Advanced in July 2023, Dr. Marko completed a rotating internship, worked in emergency medicine, general practice, and completed a residency in toxicology while working for poison control. She aims to create an individualized experience for each patient, focusing on client education and taking a patient driven approach to medicine.
When not at work, Dr. Marko enjoys spending time with her animals- which includes a variety of dogs, cats, chickens, horses, a cow and three house goats.
